Moderator Rev. George McCulloh

Greetings to all,

We are trying to step it up a notch!

During these changing times, I believe we have an obligation to serve the churches in the Auburn District by increasing the quality of our ministry efforts. Our worship must be pleasing to God; offered up in spirit and in truth. Our knowledge and instruction must be redirected to strict Bible based teaching for it is the rule and the common ground by which our churches associate.

In the upcoming year we solicit your support as we continue to improve our worship facility. We give thanks to our Lord for the work of those who have sacrificed time, energy, and talents to remodel classrooms so far. Now our attention turns to the second building as we endeavor to create a functional meeting alternative to our main worship center. Through volunteerism from our churches, I am confident that this work can be completed with excellence and pride in our workmanship.

I believe the ministers and pastors of the association can strengthen our fellowship and share knowledge for biblical problem solving. We have a responsibility to embrace new pastors and equip them to handle the many changing seasons of ministry they face at local churches. By doing so, we will ensure the perpetuation of sound doctrine in every Missionary Baptist Church that is a part of this great district association.

We also have an opportunity to minister to the youth our our area. It is my desire that the Women's and Laymen's Auxiliaries join together to capture the attention of our youth. We believe retreats, worship services, and positive interactions with spirit filled adults can impact our youth for the Lord. Together we can grow the church of the future.

It is time for our churches to re-align their focus away from programming and rituals, and toward authentic relationships with Jesus Christ. It is this rich heritage of faith in the Lord Jesus that has sustained our association throughout the ever changing phases of history.

By the grace of God it will be our belief in Jesus that will transition us into a glorious future. God bless you all and we look forward to fellowship with you soon.

Your servant,

Rev. George McCulloh
